Who we are
We are a non-profit making venture dedicated to supporting the local Surrey mental health charity, Catalyst.
We sell a great range of quality second hand vinyl and CD’s and donate 100% of the proceeds to Catalyst.
Catalyst supports the mental well- being and welfare of people throughout Surrey. Further details about them can be found here.
If you have any ideas how we can improve our offering to raise more money for charity, or want to help in a more hands on way, we’d love to hear from you.

Our Records
We stock over 2,000 second hand vinyl records (both albums and singles) and CD’s covering many genres such as rock and pop, soul, jazz, musicals and films, and classical.
We want your vinyl and CDs
We have a great range of stock with more to come but we also need record donations. The more you donate the more money we raise for Catalyst and the better our variety of stock, so everyone wins.
Either bring the vinyl or CDs to the shop during opening hours or if it is very bulky we will usually be able to collect: either email us or use any other contact details
Books
We are based in the shop A Novel Idea in Queen Street, Godalming, which also has an amazing selection of second-hand books at very reasonable prices.
All proceeds from book sales go to the Catalyst charity.
